The route to success is composed of continuous work on innovations. Despite any difficulties, Ukrainians are constantly striving to develop and learn. They cannot be stopped – not by relentless air raids, nor by power outages, nor by war. After all, we are the unbreakable Ukrainian people.
In early December 2022, an in-depth training workshop was held for the AVA Group sales team on the following subject: “Products for piglets – milk replacers and liquid pre-starters: composition, types, benefits, feeding methods”. The speakers were Volodymyr Shylo, Product Manager at Swinco International B.V., and Kostiantyn Makhno, Innovation Manager of the Product Marketing Department of AVA Group.
As genetics and sow fertility have evolved, there has been a need for an additional source of nutrition for piglets. After all, the main goal is to preserve all newborn piglets and provide them with nutrients. A quick start in piglet growth and preparation of the enzyme system for weaning are important factors in achieving maximum gains in the growth and finishing of pigs. The future is determined by the start.
The speakers presented European innovations in approaches to feeding piglets with liquid dairy products. These are the OpticareAutomix 24/7 automatic feeding system using milk replacers and dairy liquid pre-starters and the OpticareMilk and OpticarePresake piglet feeding products.
These products are perfectly balanced in all nutrients and contain a high content of easily digestible fat, which is similar to sow’s milk.
