On February 26–27, the educational and practical conference “National Feed Harvesting Day” took place in Kyiv. AVA Group participated as a partner of the event and joined professional discussions on strategies and practical solutions in feed harvesting.
During the conference, Product Manager and Feeding Consultant Leonid Koshovyi delivered a presentation titled: “Silage Losses: How to Calculate and Minimize Them.”
Silage harvesting is not only a technological process but also a matter of managing farm investments. Every percentage of loss translates into direct financial damage and increases the cost of the daily ration. In his presentation, the speaker focused on:
• The key causes of quality and volume losses in harvested silage;
• Critical control points in the silage harvesting process;
• The economic impact of controlling fermentation processes using Silosolve inoculants.
The conference provided an excellent platform to discuss this important topic with clients, which is particularly timely ahead of the 2026 season.
