Stephen LeBlanc talks about the relationship between productivity and cow health and fertility, and if it is possible to have a healthy, high-producing cow with good reproduction rates.
Stephen LeBlanc is a Doctor of Veterinary Science, Professor at the Ontario Veterinary College. He is a specialist in cow health management. His research focuses on the metabolic and reproductive health of transition cows and its management. He is the director of the Center for Dairy Research and Innovation (Guelph, Canada), a network of academics, PhD students and postgraduates from all specialties at the University of Guelph who are involved in dairy research. He served as Senior Editor of the Journal of Dairy Science for six years and is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Dairy Science Association.
