A successful start is the basis for future animal productivity and health
During the first few weeks of life, piglets face many biological and technological challenges. This period is the most sensitive and intensive — key body systems are formed and developed, feed components and living conditions change. At the same time, the future productivity and potential of the animals are being established.
The efficiency of the pig farming business largely depends on the survival and safety of piglets during this period. The main tasks of feeding during this period are to minimise the impact of stress factors by supporting the development of the immune and digestive systems and to prepare the organism for the transition to other types of feed and high productivity in the future.
